Firstly, please verify that your PC meets the system requirements for the game by checking the official website or Steam store page of the game.
To check your PC specifications, please use the "KOEITECMO SYSTEM VIEWER" tool.
If you experience the issue even though your PC meets the system requirements, please try the following steps.
Note: Any changes to your hardware and peripheral device settings, or driver updates are performed at your own risk.
1. Update "DirectX End-User Runtime" program
You can download the program from Microsoft's website.

For instructions on how to download and update it, please contact Microsoft or your hardware manufacturer.
If the issue persists, please also download and install the file "directx_Jun2010_redist.exe" from the following website:

2. Confirm that your audio device is set as the "default device" in Windows sound settings
For how to set this, please refer to the instructions "Step 6. Set your audio device as the default device" in the Microsoft support page "Fix sound or audio problems in Windows."
3. Update your sound driver to the latest version
For instructions on how to update it, please refer to the device manufacturer's instructions.
4. Check peripheral devices

If you are using earphones or speakers on your PC:
Unplug and then plug them back in.
Also, check if you can hear sound without earphones or speakers connected. -
If earphones or speakers are not connected:
Try plugging them to see if you can hear sound. -
If a monitor is connected to your PC:
Unplug the cable between them once, and plug it back in. -
If a PlayStation 4 controller is connected to your PC:
As sound may be played from the controller, unplug the controller to see if you can hear the sound.
5. Change sound volume
- Set each volume setting to maximum from the in-game "OPTION" > "Sound Settings."

Right-click the speaker icon in the Windows notification area (on the taskbar), select "Open volume mixer", and set the volume for this game to maximum.
Note: The name of the game currently being played will appear in the mixer only while the game is running.
- If you still cannot hear sound, right-click the speaker icon in the Windows notification area (on the taskbar), select > "Sound" > "Playback" tab, right-click the speaker icon, select "Disable" once, and then select "Enable."
6. Check the speaker output setting
- In the Windows search box, enter "Realtek Audio" for search, and run the application "Realtek Audio Console" or "Realtek Audio Control", which appears at the top.
- Select “Speaker Settings” on the left, and change the speaker settings to “Stereo."
7. Change Sound Properties settings
- From Windows Start menu, go to "Settings" > "System" > "Sound", and select "More sound settings" in "Advanced" section.
- In the "Playback" tab, right-click the device labeled "Default Device" and select "Properties."
- In the "Levels" tab, if any volume settings other than for microphone or input are set to 0 or muted, increase the volume.
- In the "Advanced" tab, uncheck "Enable audio enhancements." (This option may not appear.)

In the "Spatial sound" tab, set the "Spatial sound format" to "Off."
8. Verify integrity of game files on Steam
From Steam Library, right-click the game title, select "Properties" > "Installed Files", and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files" to execute it.
9. Reinstall the game
If all the above steps do not resolve the issue, reinstall the game from the Steam Library.
