Troubleshooting |
If the issue occurs even though your system meets the requirements, please try the following steps.
*Please note that any changes to your hardware or peripheral settings, as well as driver updates, are to be performed at your own risk.
1. Verify integrity of game files on Steam.
From Steam Library, right-click the game title, select "Properties" > "Installed Files", and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files" to execute it.
2. If your system has multiple GPUs (using both an integrated GPU and a graphics card, or multiple graphics cards), try changing the display’s graphics settings.
By following the steps below, you may be able to use the higher-performance GPU, which may improve the situation.
*If any of the options below are not shown, you may skip those steps.
1. Right-click on the desktop, and select "Display settings" from the menu.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the Display panel, and select "Graphics settings."
3. Under "Choose an app to set preference", select "Classic app."
4. Click "Browse" button.
5. Select the game executable file (.exe) in the game installation folder, then click "Add."
6. Select the added game icon and click "Options."
7. Select "High performance" and click "Save."
3. Download "DirectX End-User Runtime" program from Microsoft's website and update it.

4. Change Launch Settings.
In the "Launch Settings" on the game's startup screen, lower the settings for each item.
This is expected to reduce the load on your PC.
5. Update, roll back, or reinstall your video card drivers.
Download and install the latest drivers compatible with your PC’s video card from your hardware manufacturer’s website. Also, try updating your sound card drivers.
* The latest versions may be available on your board or chip manufacturer’s websites.
* Please also try rolling back or reinstalling the drivers.

2) From the list, select "Windows Media Player" and click "Uninstall."
3) After uninstalling it, click "Add a feature", select "Windows Media Player" in the list, and click "Install."
7. Reduce the number of resident applications (software) as much as possible.
Make sure that no background activities such as Windows Update or security software updates are in progress.
* Resident applications refer to software listed under "Background processes" in the Task Manager.
