This title supports offline 2-player play with split screen.
Offline 2-Player Co-op Play
In MUSOU MODE and FREE MODE, you can join as the second player by connecting a second controller and pressing the "Display Info Screen button" on the following screens:
- Stage Selection screen
- Character selection screen
- Pre-battle info screen
Offline 2-Player Versus Play
On the mode selection screen, select "VS" and connect a second controller. Then, press the "Display Info Screen button" to start versus play. This can be done on the following screens:
- Stage Selection screen
- Character selection screen
- Pre-battle info screen
"Display Info Screen button"
- PS5: OPTION button
- Nintendo Switch 2: "+" button
- Xbox Series X|S: Menu button (three-line icon)
- Steam: The button varies depending on the controller you are using.
Please check the assignment under "system" > "Control Settings" > "Controller Configuration".
Please note that on the Steam version, 2P can only be operated with a controller; keyboard operation is not supported.
